Terms & Conditions

Booking & Payment Procedures:

  • Prices are quoted in $USD.
  • You can pay in $USD or its Nepalese Rupee equivalent based on the exchange rate for the day.
  • Beware, credit card and online payments might have a surcharge of up to 5%.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% (capped at $500) is essential to confirm your booking.
  • Make sure to settle the outstanding payment at least a day before the trip starts.

Updated Cancellation Policy (Considering COVID-19):

  • If Water Sports Nepal cancels: Rest assured, you'll get a full refund.

  • Your Cancellation:

    • Above 30 days from departure: No charges.
    • Between 15-29 days from departure: 25% charge.
    • Between 2-14 days from departure: Half of the amount will be charged.
    • Less than 2 days to go: Sorry, no refund.

  • COVID-19 Concerns: Canceling due to sudden COVID-19 restrictions or health issues? You'll face no penalties. Instead, you'll get a credit for any trip with Water Sports Nepal, valid for a year.

  • Remember: If you don't show up or leave the trip midway, no refunds or credits are granted. We recommend having trip cancellation & interruption insurance.

COVID-19 Advisory (as of 10 March 2022):

Our adventures are back on track! We consider outdoor water sports relatively safe from the virus, though there's still a contamination risk. Note, while we don’t mask up on the waters, our team is fully vaccinated. We abide by local health guidelines which might change. If group adventures make you uneasy, consider our personalized trips with extra COVID-19 safety measures.

Pre-Trip Formalities:

Every adventurer needs to submit a booking form that includes:

  • Basic details: Full name, nationality, passport number.
  • Emergency and insurance contacts.
  • Any medical conditions, and your height and weight.

Adventurer's Assurances:

  • Engagement: Follow the guidelines set by Water Sports Nepal's team.
  • Health Status: Be in good shape and inform us of any health issues.
  • Safety First: Always wear the given PFD and helmet near water.
  • Dress Appropriately: Don the recommended clothing and footwear.
  • Swimming Skills: You should be water-friendly and able to swim.
  • Conduct: Stay sober during activities. Water Sports Nepal isn't liable for any personal item damages/losses.

Water Sports Nepal's Risk Disclosure:

Adventure sports come with inherent risks, including potential severe injuries or, in rare cases, fatalities. We prioritize safety and always use our expertise to mitigate risks. Yet, some unpredictable elements might be beyond our reach.

Participant's Risk Acknowledgment:

By joining, you understand the risks linked with water sports, including potential exposure to COVID-19. Your signature below confirms you've read, grasped, and accepted these terms, willingly opting to embark on our journey.

For Young Adventurers Below 18:

The legal guardian's signature is crucial. This asserts they've comprehended and consented to these terms for their ward, acknowledging the associated risks.
